TECHNOLOGY / PRODUCT INCANDESCENT REPLACEMENT

Classic ECO Sylvania

LED retrofit lamp LEDON

LEDON LED retrofit lamps emit warm white light with excellent colour rendering and are therefore an ideal replacement for the popular incandes- cent lamps. Thanks to innovative LED technology, all LEDON lamps are highly efficient. As opposed to CFL energy-sav- ing lamps, LEDON LED lamps are free of toxic mercury. Therefore, they can be disposed of via simple electrical recycling – and need not be disposed of as hazardous waste. Furthermore, they achieve full output immediately, rather than taking time to light at full capacity. LED retrofit lamps produced by LEDON do not emit UV-radiation and can be switched on and off without wear. All lamps listed in the LEDON product range save up to 30 percent of energy costs compared to CFLs and compared to incandescent lamps they save up to 85 percent. www.ledon-lamp.com

SL-60A Everlight

The design for Everlight’s A-Lamp series SL-60A is based on ANSI standards. With less then 8W power consumption the SL-60A provides a light output comparable to a tra- ditional 40W incandescent light bulb. This means a huge energy saving potential up to 80% and an eminent decrease of energy costs.

The SL-60A offers two colour temperatures, warm white 3000K and neutral white 5000K, and a CRI above 80. The SL-60A Series has been certificated by CE and UL. www.everlight.com

Eurosaver USHIO

These special halogen MR-16 lamps replace higher wattage halogen MR-16 lamps with similar light output while achieving energy savings of up to 30%. They allow users the flexibility of choosing an energy saving option or an increased brightness alternative. Alter- natively, the user can choose to replace existing standard MR-16 lamps with Eu- rosaver lamps of the same wattage and achieve a significantly brighter environ- ment without additional energy costs. www.ushio.com

Havells Sylvania’s new Halogen Classic ECO range comprises 28 types of lamp, from classic A55 shapes, to candles, balls and reflectors and in all common household socket types (E27, E14 and B22). The lamps’ one-to-one dimen- sional match make them the perfect fit in all kinds of light fittings. www.havells-sylvania.com

LED GLS GE Lighting

Launched at Light + Building, GE Lighting’s LED GLS Lamp consumes only 9 Watts of power and provides a true 360 degrees of light output mimicking a standard 40W lamp. The LED bulb uses the Cree-XPG LED emitter to produce 450 lumens for a total of 77 percent in energy savings. External fins cradle the diffuser while performing a cooling function. The fins also keep the surface of the bulb cooler than comparable incandescent bulbs. www.gelighting.com

Hi-Spot Superia ECO Sylvania

The Hi-Spot Superia ECO ES50 is a range of GU10 mains voltage halogen reflec- tor lamps with extreme high luminous intensity. The new 35W version has the same luminous intensity compared to a standard 50W version for similar beam angle, resulting in 30% energy savings. The new 50W version has a luminous in- tensity which is twice as high compared to a standard 50W version for a similar beam angle. www.havells-sylvania.com
