later in Japan, the world’s second largest market for bowling ball companies, Barnes bowled a 300 game worth $43,032 in the stepladder finals of the DHC PBA Japan Invitational, then won a title worth just as much when he defeated Mike Fagan, 206-196, in the championship match for an $86,064 payday on Jan. 18.
