secretsales.com in 2007 at the age of 23 with his brother Nish, when they spotted the opportunity to recreate the Boxing Day sales rush online
every day, for eager UK customers. Being raised in the digital age and coming from a family steeped in the retail industry, they were well placed to develop an innovative way of assisting fashion and accessories brands with effectively managing excess inventory. In 2014, the company grew by almost 40% year-on-year, with £37million in gross turnover. A strong technology and CRM competence has enabled the company to send over 70,000 variations of its morning email each day. Since launching the site, Sach has been responsible for the company’s buying and merchandising strategy as well as developing the wider company strategy with his brother Nish. He was also responsible for all creative representation and brand positioning. Additionally, Sach negotiated and secured partnerships with over 450 fashion brands and key partners.

Rob Tominey, managing director, Mainstage Travel
Rob Tominey showed a fl air for entrepreneurship early on, launching businesses whilst still at school. He was already running his own online ticket
company when he met his business partner, Aden Levin. In 2011 they set up Mainstage Travel, to fi ll a gap in the market for cost- effective, youth-focussed package holidays. The company grew quickly in its fi rst two years, reaching a turnover of £1.6million within 18 months. Mainstage Travel tapped into the changing way that individuals are now booking their holidays and hit the ground running. Rob Tominey approached BBC’s Dragon’s Den in 2013 and was selected to pitch Mainstage Travel with Aden. Dragon Piers Linney bought a 15% share in the business, valuing the two-year-old company at £670,000. Since then, Mainstage Travel has grown its holiday business whilst simultaneously expanding its travel technology platform and is expected to grow to a £10million company within two years.
