EAS/IAAPA During next month’s Euro Attractions Show (EAS) in Amsterdam, Lagotronics Projects will launch its new game package, a small interactive set- up that can be used in almost any environment, available for what we are told is a very interesting price. Spaces as small as 3 x 3 metres (10 x 10ft) – including hotel lobbies, shopping malls and more – can be can exploited to create a great experience for two players or more. If you can provide such an experience in your park, you can be sure your guests will return.” The Dutch company, which recently introduced a brand new look, is currently working on several dark rides and other park projects incorporating interactive technology. A new ride opened just a month ago in Turkey’s new Mall of Istanbul, Turkey. Developed in co-operation with Heimotion and ETF, it features a classic theme and five mine train vehicles equipped with 20 interactive shooters, personal score displays and audio systems. Packed into the scenery are as many 135 targets, each of which triggers an animatronic or special effect when hit by the shooters. Having this many interactive objects makes this ride unique, believes Beumers.


Alongside more conventional dark rides like that above, media-based interactive rides are going from strength to strength, and here Lagotronics Projects is very active too. Currently the company has several projects under construction. Among them are two big attractions for indoor parks in China, one for the Wanda Group in Wuhan and another for the Eontime park in Harbin. Both rides will contain the newest Interactive technology including high quality 3D games combined with very accurate interactive devices. Among other projects in development is a rides that contains up to 120 interactive fantasy
