JUST THE second of its kind that we’ve personally seen at BikeBiz, Pedego’s electric fatbike has now been launched in Europe. The Pedego Trail Tracker can climb steep mountain
trails with the assistance of a rugged 600W silent motor and a 48V battery, as well as both pedelec and throttle options for power delivery. The Trail Tracker was originally designed as a show- stopping concept bike for display at the Interbike show in Las Vegas in 2012. Such was the positive reaction that Pedego started manufacturing for commercial sale and has not been able to keep them in stock since, hence the European expansion.

NOW AVAILABLE is the Catlike Mixino VD2.0 Aero helmet as worn by TdF KoM Nairo Quintana and World Road Champion Rui Costa. The VD2.0 version of the Mixino utilises the same light weight graphene re-inforced aramid roll cage to offer a very low profile and size to the helmet while surpassing all required safety tests. Obviously the VD2.0 differs in its outer shell with very few vents and a CFD enhanced outer shell to provide those extra watts for races when ventilation is not the most important factor. The VD2.0 was seen in action at the TdF on the hilly TT around lake Annecy and will also be used by Team Movistar during the chilly spring classics where the closed helmet reduces drag and helps keep the rider warm.
