So far, of course, Firefall has yet to prove itself to in wild world of online gaming, but the MMO shooter is only in open beta so there’s still time for Red 5 to turn things around. 2014 could be the year that happens.

ONES TO WATCH 2014
The Longest Journey, founded Red Thread in 2012. The studio’s mission to continue the Dreamfall saga has seen it obtain grants and take to crowdfunding in order to build the necessary funds. The third Dreamfall title is due to be released in 2014. Meanwhile, Red Thread has already begun work a new survival horror game, Draugen.
