THE CREATOR OF Superbrothers: Swords and Sworcery EPwill no doubt get people talking once again this year as the release of its Xbox One exclusive title Below (pictured) nears. The game was one of Microsoft’s major announcements at E3 last year, positioned as a key indie release on the firm’s new console. Capybara is also putting the

finishing touches on time-travelling run-and-gun platformer Super Time Force, a retro-style action game that’s heading to both Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The studio has also teased

more announcements for 2014 on its official site.

CD PROJEKT RED

THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE for CD Projekt Red this year will be ensuring The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (pictured) lives up to expectations. The next instalment in the six million-selling RPG series, which is based on the works of Polish fantasy author Andrzej Sapkowski, is one of the most anticipated next-gen titles due in 2014, having picked up a slew of consumer and media awards. CD Projekt Red is also

working on a sci-fi RPG entitled Cyberpunk 2077, although little has been revealed about the title so far. On top of this, the company will no doubt continue building the new Krakow-based studio it opened last summer.
