Alternatively, the Galaxy Touch incorporates IPL and Radio Frequency. The Crystal Clear IPL system will remove hair from all areas of the body, apart from tanned areas, inflammatory skin conditions (such as Eczema, active herpes), any moles or birth marks, eye brows (as it’s difficult to accurately apply the pulse), and the genital area (because of the variation of pigmentation).
The system settings are computer- customised according to your client’s skin colour and hair type. The handset is placed onto the area to be treated and a light-based energy pulses a quick flash of light resulting in a destroyed hair follicle.
Treatments are taken in four to eight week intervals, and a course of six to eight treatments is recommended depending on several factors related to specific skin types and colour, thickness and density of hair.
