GUILD NEWS 117
Attendees of the 7th successful Sterex TGCourse held earlier this year. GenderMatters to Sterex Sterex have held their seventh successful Transgender electrolysis course.
The two-day course featured specialist training for experienced and knowledgeable electrolysists in transgendered techniques, alongside an insightful and upbeat presentation delivered by Linzi Healey based on her own personal experiences.
Sherrie Tomlinson, CentreManager of ‘GenderMatters’, also gave a fascinating, challenging and all-encompassing presentation regarding the work of the GenderMatters charity in supporting people struggling with gender identity issues.
Elaine Stoddart, Sterex Director of Education told GN: “We want electrolysists who will embrace the community with dignity, sensitivity, compassion and professionalism all backed up with high skill levels. Come and train with us, learn about the community and how you can help them, whilst ensuring a profitable future for yourself.”
