The French connection
French vineyards produce an estimated eight billion bottles of wine each year. GVF International specialises in helping onboard caterers discover the best of the bunch
Grands Vins de France (GVF International), is a French company, founded in 1990 to exclusively export a wide range of fine quality wines from France.
With an expert team, GVF works in close collaboration with owners and wine makers to market and distribute wines around the globe. It quickly established itself as sole agent for wineries spread across the key regions of France including Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Loire, Rhone and Languedoc.
Seven years ago, the business was bought by Yves Jouanic, and under his leadership GVF has developed a specialism in supplying airlines and cruise lines.
Yves brought with him 30 years’ worth of expertise in international exports and a specialism in international logistics and customs procedures.
Based near Paris, he and his team now manage deliveries all over the world, working closely with local officials on behalf of client companies. Working with him is Frank Lucet who has worked in the wine business for 20 years. His knowledge and close relationship with the wineries ensures GVF can
rigorously maintain a continuous quality, with the prices to match the airline and cruise line specifications.
Before joining GVF, Frank was in charge of Air France’s wine list and worked as a wine consultant for Openskies, Air
