The Lawyer Monthly Legal Awards are very special in that they recognise the achievements of those law firms and individuals who have engaged and responded most successfully to the demands of the new post-recession business environment and the ongoing global economic turmoil.

The role of corporate lawyers cannot be underestimated, they have been at the very heart of the global recovery and their day to day involvement is vital to ensure stability, consolidation and growth. The past year has seen the green shoots of recovery begin to blossom and although the difficult business environment is ever present, law firms continue to flourish. In difficult trading conditions such as these the successful firms innovate and stay fleet of foot to meet the changing business climate head on. The 2012 Lawyer Monthly legal awards recognises all those firms that have dedicated their resources to innovation, built on their

depth of expertise and performed outstandingly over the year.

The awards are divided into individual and firm categories and have been carefully chosen to reflect the range of practice areas and skills that lie at the heart of the successful law firm or legal department.

After much hard work and many hours spent sifting through the votes and the voting criteria data, Lawyer Monthly is proud to officially announce the winners of the Lawyer Monthly Legal Awards 2012.
