Frantisek Honsa is a founding Partner of BBH and, since 2008, he has been the Managing Partner of BBH Prague. Mr. Honsa is responsible for the litigation, arbitration and criminal law department. His main focus is in

commercial and banking law, both in civil disputes held in court proceedings or in domestic and international arbitration that have proven to be significant for the interpretation of Czech laws and regulations. His professional experience includes also the criminal pleading of white collar defendants being prosecuted for financial offences.

Frantisek Honsa is an arbitrator and member of the Board of the Czech Arbitration Court in Prague, the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and International Arbitral Centre of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (VIAC). Mr. Honsa is also a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Czech Bar Association.

Frantisek Honsa is the author of the publication Shareholders’ Liability (1997).

Mr. Honsa was educated at Charles University, Prague (1991) and he completed the International Business Transactions course at The George Washington University, Washington D.C. in 1996. He further acquired the professional title JUDr. and Ph.D. from Charles University. He speaks Czech, English and Russian.
