Beautymatch helps students
Final year students at the London College of Fashion have been given a boost to their prospects as they prepare to graduate, thanks to a career workshop given by recruitment specialist Beautymatch.
Independent accredited training
The Academy of Advanced Beauty are now offering accredited Ultrasound training.
Originally working as a radiographer in Poland’s leading heart transplant team, operating an Ultrasound scanner, Barbara Freytag, founder of the Academy, has introduced ultrasound into beauty treatments.
The Academy offers training courses which are run by a medically and beauty trained lecturer and are delivered in small units to ensure that students can understand each unit.
You can choose from a selection of training course including Microdermabrasion, Diode Light Therapy, Micropigmentation, Ultrasound, Skin Rejuvenation and many more.
Students can choose from sitting in a small class or one-to-one attention and course dates can be arranged directly with the academy.

The seminar was the first in a series of college visits in which James Reed, head of Beautymatch, a division of iiaa, talks to students about strategies to make themselves more attractive to potential employers.

Calgel are offering a two day nail training course covering the art of overlays, tip application, free form sculptures and much more.
Courses will take place throughout May all over the UK including Luton, the Midlands, Sheffield, Glasglow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Bristol.
An Advanced one day course is also available, designed for Calgel technicians to refresh their skills as well as taking a mock exam in preparation for the Premier Status Exam.
