Kooky Nail Fashionistas, supporters of this year’s UK NailTech competition, have launched a new collection – Queen of Lace.


There are six different designs in the new collection including Pistachio and Gold, Bronze and Silver, Beige and Gold, Blue and Gold, Lime and Silver, and Red and Silver.

Fashion Week success


CND nails were seen all over NewYork FashionWeek, including at NicoleMiller, RachelAntoff,Theory andAshish’s fashion shows.


CND’sWanda Ruiz helped to create a time machine inspiredmanicure atMiller’s show with Plumville, Electric Orange, Bicycle Yellow andAnchor Blue.


Taking a night-time approach was Candice Manacchio to complementAntoff’s Starry Night collection. She usedMidnight Sapphire, Electric Purple and StudioWhite.


Jin Soon Choi created clean, sophisticated pink nails atTheory’s show in CND colour Marshmallow Rose, whileMarian Newman opted for CND Shellac in Cocoa and Romantique, layered for flattering beigemanicures to accompanyAshish’s collection.

In-store nail app


Nail Inc have launched a first of its kind in- store touch screen application so that shoppers can now create and pick up personalised products within 30 minutes of using the new app.


The nail bar chain has collaborated with digital and CRMagency Tangent Snowball and is now available in London’s flagship Harvey Nichols department store.


The device has very similar features to the Nails Inc website, including the Try It On function which allows users to select a nail polish colour and see what it looks like on any of the four different hand images.


Heather Steele, Head ofMarketing and Product Development at nails inc, said: "Our in-store touch screen enables visitors to create truly personalised products for themselves or for friends and family, and have the physical product in their hands within a very short amount of time.”
