For a darker,more intense colour, apply a second coat of colour and cure again.Then apply a coat of Colour Gloss Soak Off Glossing Gel using a thin light application, and cure, and finally remove the sticky inhibition layer with Artistic Nail Surface Cleanser and a lint- free wipe to finish.


There are over 30 different colours to choose from, and nails will keep their high shine gloss for up to three weeks without chipping, dulling or peeling. Soak off is fast with no damage to the natural nail.


Entity One Color Couture, available fromThe Beauty Partnership, combines the long-lasting, high-gloss durability of gel with the ease and versatility of enamel. Once cured under the LED lamp, colour will not smudge or chip, and like gel products there is no drying time. Nails will stay chip-free for up to 21 days.


A number of .5 fl. oz. colours are currently available, influenced by the best- selling enamel colours, plus two iridescent shades including Encore (metallic),Tres Chic Pink,Ms Fancy Pants (pink glitter), Posh in Pink (shimmer), Fashion French Pink (pearl),Midnight Runway (purple), Not OffThe Rack (red), Designer Label (purple), DoMy Nails Look Fat (cerise), Little Black Bottle and Spotlight (white), amongst others.What’smore, colours can be layered to create unique shades. Products come in a bottle with a cap brush designed specifically for smooth application of colour and complete coverage.


As well as soak off gel enamel, the product range also includes basecoat, topcoat, Natural Nail Prep and Nubond acid free primer. Basecoat, colour and topcoat are cured using a 36-watt UV tunnel lamp with aminimumof 9-watt bulbs or an LED light withminimum5- watt lights.


SuperNail ProGel, also available from The Beauty Partnership, features the latest advancements in gel polish technology. Colour protects the natural nails with a longwearing, chip-free finish. ProGel can be cured under either an LED or UV light, and soaks off easily in 10 minutes.


To apply firstly prepare the nail, and use an 180-grit file to shape the nails. Remove cuticles – SuperNail recommend their Alpha Hydroxy Cuticle Remover and Rejuvenator. Remove shine fromthe nail plate using a 204-grit buffing block, and remove dust.


Apply a coat of SuperBond and let dry before you apply ProGel Basecoat in a thin layer, being careful not apply to the cuticle, and encase the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds in an LED lamp or oneminute under a UV lamp.Then you are ready to apply a thin coat of ProGel Colour, again keeping away fromthe cuticles and capping the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds under an LED lamp, or twominutes under a UV lamp, this is followed by a second coat of colour which is cured as before. Once the colour is cured, apply a coat of SuperNail ProGelTopcoat, cap in the free edges, and cure. Follow this by wiping the sticky residue away fromeach nail using a lint-wipe soaked in alcohol.


ibd Just Gel Polish, available from Grafton International, is a 100 percent pure gel in polish form, which cures under LED or UV lamps.This simple and easy to use product provides a protective shield for natural nails with no chips, and can be removed in just tenminutes.


To apply, firstly prep the nails; file with a 180-grit file, remove the cuticle, and remove shine with a 240-grit buffing block.Apply a layer of ibd PowerBond and once dried, apply a layer of Just Gel Polish Basecoat. Cure the Basecoat under an LED lamp for 30 seconds, or under a UV lamp for oneminute.Apply one thin coat of Just Gel Polish in the colour of your client’s choice, and again cure under the lamp (30 seconds for LED, two minutes for UV).Apply a very thin coat of Just Gel Polish topcoat, and cure.


The product range features 30 Just Gel Polish shades, 24 Colours in Shimmer, Glitter or Crème, and six glowing Neon colours.
