The Beautec Academy offers a comprehensive selection of beauty training including facials, waxing, manicures, hair removal and much more.
Andrea Cooper, founder and Managing Director, has worked within the beauty industry for 28 years and has 16 years of teaching experience.
The courses are held at The Beautec Academy, a state of the art centre, and offer the latest facilities and treatments.
Classes are for a maximum of six students to ensure a relaxed and personalised environment. The academy also offers fast-track beauty courses to qualify in NVQ.

Fast track your learning
Southern Beauty offer a variety of fast track training courses for everyone, whether you are new to the beauty industry or an experienced therapist seeking additional skills or a salon/Spa wishing to extend your treatment menu.
Fast track courses are particularly ideal for CPD points to enable therapists and salons to keep up to date with all the latest trends and skills.
Courses cover all aspects of Health and Safety, contra-indications and contra-actions and to ensure quality training is provided, all fast track courses are limited to six students.

Offer holistic treatments
Train with Face theWorld and offer your clients a host of new treatments including holistic facial massages and beauty treatments.
The fully patented, accredited, holistic facial treatment focuses on delivering premium, results- driven and paraben-free nourishment for the skin, as well as a holistic experience designed to pamper the senses.
A Face TheWorld ‘Journey’ is carefully choreographed and timed experience that takes clients to four countries with products, fragrances and music all representing each of the countries.
The two main types of training on offer are salon and Spa training or individual therapist training and are both accredited for insurance purposes. On completion you will receive a Diploma and Certificate.

The event was a great success for Truro College and other leading brands such as Eve Taylor, La Beeby and Stage Line also headed down to Cornwall.
Students and the local professional salon community got to experience products first hand, as well as attend seminars run by Hive on AdvancedWaxing Techniques, Baobab Nut Massage and Spray Paraffin Facials.
Jane Iredale gives students a master-class
Beauty therapy students atWiltshire College, Chippenham, were treated to a make-up master class by Jane Iredale make-up artist Danielle Tominey.
Danielle spent two days at the college working with the Level Two and Three students in the College’s dedicated beauty salon Aspire.\
The master class training involved demonstrations, tips and techniques and hands on applications on classmates.
Lecturer in beauty therapy, Heather Terrington said: “Aspire Salon in Chippenham is privileged to be one of a small number of colleges in the UK who stock the Jane Iredale range and whose students receive professional training in the application of this high quality and exclusive range.”

Elle Beautywinner announced
Following more than three months of tasks, interviews and judging, Shannon Peter, 19 from Devon has won a year-long paid internship split between PZ Cussons Beauty (owners of St Tropez, Charles Worthington, Sanctuary Spa and Fudge Hair), House PR and Elle magazine.
Four finalists were whittled down from thousands of entries after essay submissions and presentations to the judging panel, for the final task of producing their own How To Get The Look beauty editorial after attending a shoot with the Elle beauty team and celebrity make-up artist Lisa Eldridge.
Shannon commented: “It means the absolute world to me to have won and I am so glad to be given this once in a lifetime opportunity.
“I’m so happy to be able to launch my career in such an exciting way and I’m already dreaming about what the future may hold for me.”
