Minx get their skates on
TheVivienneWestwood Autumn/Winter 2012/13 Red Label collection used customnailsmade by Minx.
Minx co-founders Janice Jordan and Dawn Lynch- Goodwin were requested to customise theVivienne Westwood show nails for the second season.
Nail stylistMarian Newman and her team created nails that both looked and felt like the surface of a skateboard.
“TheMinx coatings were just as the brief described: rough, grey and abrasive, just like the surface of a skateboard,” saidMarian.
Janice explained: “We had not created that texture before, but we experimented and developed that exact texture that we are calling the ‘TouchMe, FeelMe’ Minx.”

Playful on the catwalk
CND’s Creamy Cameo nails. Moschino used CND for their first Cheap and Chic London show.
Especially for theAutumn/Winter 2012/13 collection, customblended opaque soft peach nails were created by Liza Smith using CND’s Creamy Cameo customblended polish with StudioWhite.
The nail brief was specific with key looks and textures aiming for a youthful, yet playful look.

Nailtopia has launched a new Summer catalogue full of new nail art ideas and current trends for 2012.
One addition to the catalogue are real-photo nail
stickers.They are based on detailed images in a variety of designs including floral, butterflies, cute creatures and romantic angels.
The super-thin nail stickers are only 0.09mmthick,meaning that they flex easily to the nail’s surface, giving long-lasting wear.
