ADI Heat Treating Zhejiang Jiashan Sanyong
Electrical Furnace Industry Co. Ltd. built a controlled atmosphere seal box special furnace production line in January 2006. Suzhou ADI imported a controlled atmosphere multipurpose furnace production line from AFC-Holcroft, Michigan, USA, and debugged it in the first half of 2007 after instal- lation. Since then, professional heat treatment centers have been appearing in China. Suzhou ADI has played an important role in the development of ADI products in China by actively helping Chinese companies in ADI production development and testing. Hebei Qianxi Aodiai Mechanical Casting bought
two controlled atmosphere seal box furnace austemper- ing production lines, made by AFC, from Shanghai Powermax Furnace Co. Ltd. in 2007, and the production lines were put into operation in June 2010 to establish an austempering heat treatment center in North China. Believing wide ADI applications will arise in China, Aipu Co. installed two production lines in August 2011 at its new branch Jilin Aipu Co., Changchun, China, to serve an austempering center in the northeastern region of the country. One hearth at Jilin Aipu is about 2 × 2 × 1.5 m and can heat treat 4.5 tons of castings at a time. Nanjing Guangying Furnace Co. Ltd., Jiangsu, China,
has installed continuous austempering production lines for components used in railway applications. Hubei Mechanical and Electrical Research and Design Institute recently improved its design of austempering equipment with an intelligent mechanical arm to ensure process execution. Hankou Furnace Co. Ltd., Wuhan, China, has been developing and manufacturing austempering heat treatment furnaces for many years and can offer austem- pering furnaces in a range of sizes (hearth sizes from 600 × 500 × 800 mm to 2,000 × 1,200 × 1,200 mm), as well as chain-belt continuous austempering furnaces. In 2005, the first professional ADI factory in China, Henan ADI Foundry Co. Ltd. was established. After several years of development, it now can manufacture large quantities of components like heavy truck chassis, air picks, and coal mining and engineering machinery. In 2007, its ADI production volume was 2,700 tons. By 2010, it reached 4,500 tons. The company expects to pro- duce 7,000 to 8,000 tons in 2012.
ADI Crankshaft and Gear Market
In recent years, turbocharging technology has been applied to gasoline engines. FAW Foundry has started
