Applied Process Sells AP Suzhou Applied Process公司卖掉了苏州AP


Applied Process Inc., Livonia, Mich., USA, an- nounced the sale of its Suzhou AiPu Component Manufacturing Co. (AP Suzhou), Suzhou, China, to two minority partners. David Chang, president, and Andy Chen, vice presi-


dent, have purchased the company and are expected to continue operating the austempering facility. Te compa- ny’s customers are in several markets, including heavy truck and bus, miscellaneous machinery, agricultural machinery, turf care, construction machinery and railroad. Te new company, doing business as Suzhou ADI, will join its sister company Jilin ADI as technical and marketing licensees of Applied Process. Te combined facilities offer three austempering lines for commercial processing, and the new owners expect to increase capacity to address demand. Te new owners also own Shanghai Powermax, which


produces austempering equipment under technical license to AFC-Holcroft. Applied Process indicated it will con- tinue to work closely with Suzhou ADI and Jilin ADI. ■
