High quality original iron is required for ADI cast-


ings, which calls for high quality foundry iron and steel scrap. Previously, Q10 and Q12 were used as pig iron for ductile iron production in China, as the nation does not have high purity pig iron. The contents of phospho- rous and titanium in Q10 and Q12 are high, and the impurity elements are not as strictly limited as they are in other areas of the world with sources of high purity pig iron (Table 2). Recently, several domestic enterprises have succeeded in smelting high purity pig iron. These enterprises and the chemical constitution of their high purity pig irons are listed in Table 3. Recarburized high grade steel scraps can be used to


produce high grade iron, except for use in high grade foundry pig iron or high purity pig iron. In fact, recar-

球铁毛坯质量有很大改善,为ADI批量生产创造了 条件


1)优质金属炉料有了保证


生产ADI球铁毛坯件,必须要有优质的原铁液,这就 要求提供优质的铸造生铁和废钢。 我国以前还没有像国外Sorel metal类似的高纯生铁, 只有Q10、Q12两种球铁用生铁,P、Ti含量较高,对杂


质元素也没有提出像国外一样(见表2)要求。 随着生铁冶炼技术的发展,近年来已有一些企业成功 地冶炼出高纯生铁并制定了相应的企业标准。表3为近 年来能提供高纯生铁的厂家及其化学成分。能基本满足 P<0.04%, Ti<0.05%, Mn<0.3%铸造生铁的生产厂见 表3。


除采用优质铸造生铁或高纯生铁外,采用优质废钢增
