Industries LLC, Detroit, announced it expects to launch new aluminum diecasting programs under a reorganized financial structure. The company, which maintains several metalcasting
facilities, said it has closed a new financing package with funds managed by ICON Capital Corp. According to Revstone CEO Kevin Cramton, the financing will be used to fund the launch of new prod- ucts and business. “Our new financial structure with ICON moves Revs-
tone forward,” Cramton said. “Tis financing package sta- bilizes our businesses and gives us the resources to launch new programs in aluminum diecasting, fine blanking and engine damper technology.” Revstone operates diecasting facilities in Chihuahua,
Mexico, Portage, Mich., USA, and Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Te company also has several ferrous casting facilities in its portfolio. Most of its metalcasting assets have been acquired in the last three years. “Te companies within the Revstone Transportation
group are key suppliers, providing specialized automotive components to both domestic and transplant OEMs, and we are excited by the group’s immediate and long-term growth prospects,” said Marcelo Sarago, senior director with ICON. Revstone is a diversified metal products manufacturing
focusing on the automotive market. It has 29 facilities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica, approximately 3,000 employees and more than $600 million in projected 2011 annual revenue. ■
