Florence Broadburst was born in rural Queensland in Australia in 1899. She is best known for revolutionising wallpaper, abandoning the conventions of traditional conservative designs for prints and techniques that were decidedly ahead of her time. The flamboyant Broadhurst travelled extensively and her time in Asia became a source of inspiration for her later work.

to passengers in many different ways from canvas tweed to real leather bags and polycarbonate shells to Swarovski crystal-studded clutch bag. All the bags reflect the latest colours and trends, whilst providing a platform to showcase the world’s luxury brands and products. The airline amenities programme is now
more than ever a marketing opportunity for designers and brands alike. This year TravelPlus received 40% more
entries to the awards than in 2010 with a number of categories fiercely contested for the converted TravelPlus Gold Rosette. The standard of submission was very
high and the judges had their work cut out judging the entries from a traveller’s perspective from their usefulness, desirability, chicness and reflecting of the airline’s brand.
