GTECH G2

Casino Job in the third dimension

With cinema and TV making inroads into consumer consciousness using 3D technology, GTech G2 is the latest firm to try its hand on applying the concept to slots.

Tech G2, the premier full service provider to the iGaming and sports betting industry, launches an array of new products and technologies at ICE this year. The company will be showcasing Casino Job - its first 3D game. The game is designed to really excite and engage players as they adopt one of four true to life charac- ters including a rather gorgeous An- gelina Jolie lookalike… and crack into the casino safe against the clock. Game development was driven by player needs and demands. It is the de- sire to serve the need of the player that has driven the development of GMS Flightboard, which will also be de-

G

buted at ICE – Flightboard allows op- erators to talk to and interact with their players in real time ensuring that firms never miss a vital moment in the player journey and create the most personalised experience for their cus- tomers. GTech G2 said it understands the importance of really listening to player needs and providing them with the ul- timate gaming experience whenever and wherever they choose to play; and will be showcasing the seamless play- er experience with sister company Spielo International with games avail- able on land based machines, online, on mobile or on a tablet providing a seamless player journey. GTech G2

will launch its exciting new mobile prototype devices at ICE.

The company is also offering show attendees the chance to win an iPad every day, with the G2 Goal Challenge. Goal Challenge will see the entire in- dustry have the chance to see who has the best goal scoring skills. As part of its award winning sports betting offer- ing GTech G2 will be showcasing an update to their STOS screen system to allow for HD quality display and in- creased functionality. They will also be hosting a daily demo of their inno- vative retail solution for prospective ‘consortium’ members.

CONFERENCES

Retention not enough

E

ngaging customers as the key to growth will be one of the cornerstone themes covered at the CRM and Retention in Gaming Conference, part of the learning programme which runs in parallel with ICE Totally Gaming exhibition. Bwin.party’s head of customer value management

Andrew Bluemi will open the debate with a seminar entitled ‘Retention is not enough - engagement is the key’, where he will discuss topics such as how declin- ing returns in the current economic climate are a given unless companies invest in engagement pro- grammes. Yeemay Huang, marketing manager responsible for ICE Conferences, said: “Simply maintaining exist- ing customers is no longer a viable solution to riding out the recession, and a customer engagement strat- egy is vital for the long term health of gaming busi- nesses everywhere. This is a critical topic for the in- dustry and ICE will see us bring together the most re- spected thought leaders to share ideas and discuss the optimum strategies for customer engagement.” She added: “The conference programme at ICE

Totally Gaming delivers a unique chance to benefit from targeted learning and networking at the same time as seeing the latest trends, technologies and gaming solutions.”
