The Wm. Powell Company (Powell Valves) is seeking EXPERIENCED SALES individuals to represent us in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Midwest, West Coast and Northwest. Major end-use markets include petroleum refining,
petrochemical processing, pulp/paper, and the power industries. The Regional Manager will be responsible for supporting distribution within their territory by calling on end-user accounts as well as A/E firms, both independently and with distributor personnel. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of the major accounts and indus- tries within their territory. They should possess a solid understanding of industrial valves and their applications.
A four year engineering degree is preferred, or the equivalent training by virtue of expe- rience. In addition, the ability to build and sustain relationships is critical. Good commu- nications and negotiating skills are necessary as well as the ability to manage your time and territory effectively. Powell Valves seeks a mature, experienced, self-starter who can set and achieve goals independently. Some overnight travel will be required.
