•THE WHOLESALER® — MARCH 2011

2011 D

uring recent years, as the industry has dealt with challenges due to the reces- sion, some wholesalers have had to

reduce inventory as part of their cost-cutting measures. This has left wholesalers vulnerable to losing sales and possibly customers, mak- ing a bad situation even worse. In response Metropac has doubled their ef-

forts, along with their inventory, to provide wholesalers the ability to retain sales without the burden of inventory costs. Over the past couple years Metropac has been on a cam- paign to bring in additional product lines and increase their inventory of existing product lines. Metropac now has over 100,000 part numbers set up in their system, and stocks 20,000 SKUs from over 60 vendors. Metropac began the process by increasing

their on-hand quantity of some of their most common items including Honeywell zone valves, thermostats, actuators, combustion products and zoning products, and then went on to expand their inventory of products from Johnson Controls, White Rodgers, Maxitrol, among other major product lines. They recently brought in several OEM

lines including Goodman, Lochinvar, Reznor, Rheem, Teledyne Laars and York, with more on the way. To add even further depth to their inventory, Metropac brought in Danfoss heating, Braeburn and Caleffi as new product lines. Metropac can serve as your virtual ware-

house. They will stock the products for you and ship them to you, your customer or even directly to a job site. With discreet drop ship- ping at no extra charge, your company infor- mation can be displayed on the packing slip as the sender. Metropac will not appear any- where on the packing slip making it as though the package came directly from you. All in stock orders will ship the same day

when placed by 5:45 pm e.s.t. (winter hours), 4:45 pm e.s.t. (summer hours). Ship your package via UPS Next Day to anywhere in the continental U.S. for a flat rate of only $15.00

We firmly believe that master distri- bution will continue to grow. Wholesalers are relying on master distributors much more often to fill the voids in their inventories — especially in light of current business condi- tions — and we stand prepared now more than ever to serve them.” Metropac stands behind all the products

they sell and offers the same warranty policy as the manufacturer. For more information visit Metropac at www.metropac.com or call 800-852-4328. n
