•THE WHOLESALER® — MARCH 2011
2011 M
erit Brass Company will be cele- brating its 75 year anniversary next year due in no small part to a cus-
tomer-focus that borders on obsession. The third generation family-owned and managed manufacturer and master distributor prides it- self on its Mission: To help our customers provide competitive and consistently con- forming materials and services to their customers. Consistent with their mantra, Merit will be opening a Birmingham, Alabama distri- bution center in the second half of this year to bring their total number of distri- bution centers to four. In addition to enhancing their geographical
footprint,
Merit has placed inside sales personnel in their distribution centers in Reno, Nevada and Dallas, Texas and will have a ded- icated inside sales associate at the new Birmingham DC.
During 2011, Merit Brass is also expanding
their offering to include the following new product lines and product line enhancements: • Carbon steel A105-N fittings (2000#
threaded and 3000# threaded and socket- weld) • Carbon steel A105-N outlets (threaded, butt-weld & socket-weld) • Stainless steel outlets (threaded, butt- weld and socket-weld) • Expansion of Stainless Steel 3000#

But, we’re dedicated to having the full gamut of technological innovations readily available to our customers when they want them.” MBWebXpress is the company’s latest example of innovation within the indus- try. It provides real-time, 24/7 access to indi- vidual account information, product details, costs and availability. Merit’s E.D.I.
