State Festivals

The popularity of the Green Bay area Friday evening “State Jazz” festival continues to draw great interest from qualifying schools. While the majority of participants at- tend the Green Bay State Festival, the festival is open to all WSMA member schools with qualifying events. St. Norbert College (SNC) low brass instructor Eric High has suggested an alternate site for 2011 due to building and parking concerns at SNC. Facilities at West De Pere High School (WDPHS) are available and presently under consideration. WDPHS auditorium, Library Learning Center and band room stage would be utilized for the required three performance sites. St. Norbert College will retain the festival in 2012.
