WATERPAR Waterparks Lost Island celebrates 10th anniversary

LOST Island Waterpark in Iowa, US, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with the opening of a brand new water ride. Wailua Kapua, which translates in Hawaiian to “purple river dragon,” is the name of a new 990ft-

the world’s first looping waterslide

long HydroMagnetic Rocket water coaster, developed by ProSlide. The attraction takes riders, seated in four-person rafts, 40ft up to the top of the first hill before they experience the first in a succession of drops that sees them reach speeds of up to 35 ft per second.

WhiteWater continues to lead the industry with award-winning products and innovations.
