As has already been reported, the structure of ITCA 2011 will concentrate all the activities and social events within the exhibition hall in order to maximise networking opportunities
There will be two cocktail parties in the
exhibition hall on the first two days and the Mercurys awards ceremony will take place on a
stage in the exhibition hall. The luncheon area will now be open all day,
everyday, for coffee and refreshments as well as, of course, lunch during the appropriate hours.

Board Meeting Report from Stephen White, ITCA president
A Board meeting was held by conference call on July 21 and, as promised, I would like to report back on the decisions we made:
Many favourable comments have been received regarding our future plans, not only to me but also to the other Board Members and Association Services alike. I was delighted to read all of your comments and notes of encouragement and very much appreciate your continued support.
Future ITCA Venues - After a careful cost analysis between Nice, Madrid and Cologne I am happy to report that for at least the next three to five years the new home for the ITCA’ Tradeshow and Networking Forum will be Nice. The 2011 show will take place in February but thereafter in March, to avoid carnival and half term. This will allow us all to plan our diaries in advance and to take advantage of the considerable cost savings by doing this. I look forward to welcoming you all to Nice next year.
Website - We have consulted with a number of Website Development companies and we are evaluating their proposals over the next couple of weeks. A final decision will be made at the September Board Meeting in London. Work will then begin in phases and it is expected that the

Mail Shots to Prospective New Members. – ITCA marketing material has been designed and is going to press as I write this release. A targeted mail shot to gain New Members will take place in September and October of this year. We will also be attending the three major Food Shows in Europe over the next year and will be actively seeking new members there. I will report back on the result at the end of this year.
Updated Contact List - Association Services has nearly completed this long and taxing task. If any members have received a request for their contact information to be updated from Association Services and have yet to reply, please do so as soon as possible. Incorrect or out of date information is no good to anyone.
Finance Report – All of the necessary papers have now been signed and the process of dissolving the ITCA Trust has begun. As soon as this is complete the portfolio will be transferred into the ITCA bank
account and will be administered by the ITCA Board.
Dubai 2010 – Sales of stands are currently running at 25% ahead of the same period last year. I am therefore expecting a very successful ‘Tradeshow and Networking Forum’
Caterering Partners - I am in constant contact with our large catering partners and I have assured them that the Board and I are listening closely to their suggestions and requests and I am happy to discuss future plans with them at any time.
