announce the addition of Debbie Yeend to the staff of yacht brokers. Debbie is an accomplished sailor, a member of the Tacoma Yacht Club and along with her husband owns the CAL 33 Teaser II. She was an avid racer in the 80’s racing out of Seattle on many boats. In the 90’s she and her husband, Jon Thompson, and their two daughters Jennifer and Melissa took up cruising on their Cal. representative for the past two years, learned the maritime business while working at a marina in the Tampa, FL, area prior to moving to Northwest Washington in 2008. He replaces Paul Stannert, who retired April 1. The new harbormaster said he plans
to build on the efforts made by Stannert at improving customer service, with a goal of making the marina a premier destination for Puget Sound boaters. He also looks forward to working with La Conner town officials and the business community on efforts to promote the community.
