hinese island city Xiàmén, formerly known as ‘Amoy’ in Western circles, is emerging as southern China’s most sophisticated city, according to specialist tourist media outlet The Lonely Planet. Xiamen Fantawild Water Park
Xiamen Fantawild Water Park opened to the public on 23 June 2017. With multiple areas featuring high-quality slides, it joins Dreamland and the Oriental Heritage Park to accomplish Fantawild’s aim of providing summer visitors to the region with a wider choice of entertainment venue.

reinterprets well-known Chinese theme ‘Nüwa Mends the Heavens’. In Chinese mythology, Nüwa is the goddess of order who created humans and saved the world from destruction by mending the sky. The dark ride integrates track technology, stereo optical imaging technology, and special effects that allow visitors to gallop through ancient times in free motion vehicles and join Nüwa in defeating the monsters, mending the sky, and saving humankind. Fantawild’s Xiamen Oriental Heritage Park and Water Park join the existing Fantawild Dreamland, a huge, high- tech theme park with 27 themed rides and attractions which opened in back 2013. Its active roller coasters are Stress Express by Vekoma, Terror Twister by Maurer, and Worm Around and Mount Tanggula, both by Golden Horse.
