Triotech names Gabi Salabi CCO


Gabi Salabi has been appointed chief commercial officer at supplier of digital interactive attractions Triotech. “Gabi has played a key role in Triotech’s emergence as a global leader in interactive attractions,” said founder Ernest Yale. “This appointment will leverage his leadership to facilitate our interface with major clients and optimize new business development.” Salabi joined Triotech in 2010 as VP global sales and business development. Previously, he established a successful track record leading large-scale, complex, multi- cultural teams in a highly dynamic B2B growth sector, notably with management assignments in the UK, France, and Canada.


Czarnecki moves up at Camelback


Ken Ellis and Arthur Berry III, co-owners of Camelback Resort, Tannersville, Pennsylvania, have promoted Brian Czarnecki to the role of chief operating officer, from his previous role of VP of sales and marketing. Czarnecki will direct the operations, technology, brand and marketing of Camelback Resort’s many business units, overseeing Camelback Mountain, Camelbeach Waterpark and Camelback Lodge & Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark, as well as Camelback Adventures. He will also leading the marketing, advertising and brand direction for the new H2OBX Waterpark in North Carolina and The Kartrite Hotel & Indoor Waterpark in New York, which will open December, 2018.


Jonathan Casson joins The Producers Group


A seventeen-year veteran in the entertainment industry, Jonathan Casson has joined The Producers Group as vice president of project development. He is responsible for strategic and business planning in addition to the development of partner relationships for themed entertainment projects, including theme parks, hotels, resorts and residences, restaurants, attractions, retail, dining and entertainment venues.

for Live and Location Based Entertainment for 20th Century Fox film and television. He also serves as an adjunct professor of themed entertainment in graduate studies at CalArts, and was previously a key member of the team at BRC Imagination Arts.


Matt Barton of 7thSense Design named EME division president for TEA


Matt Barton, CEO and managing director of 7thSense Design, is the new President of the Themed Entertainment Association’s (TEA) Europe and Middle East (EME) Division. The announcement was made during the 2017 IAAPA conference in Orlando, comes a


year after Matt joined the TEA EME division board. “I’m honoured to be serving as President for the TEA’s EME Division – our members are incredibly creative, forward-thinking, innovative individuals and organisations and I look forward to being a continued part of developing an association that’s engaged with our specialist industry,” said Matt. Prior to joining 7thSense, Matt honed his skills


working on display systems in the flight simulation industry in project and product management roles. Outside of his professional life, Matt is a leader of a Scout Group for young people with disabilities based in Sussex UK. As an active group, it has visited a number of theme parks and visitor attractions over the years, and Matt has seen first hand examples of inclusion and exclusion alike.


Matt hopes to use his technology background and TEA connections to look for opportunities to promote the use of innovations available in the industry to enhance the visitor experience for all and to create fully inclusive experiences.


Bishop named Sally COO


Sally Corporation has appointed David Bishop as chief operating officer. He will report directly to CEO/ Chairman, John Wood, and oversee all of Sally’s operations in Jacksonville, Florida, and strategic initiatives across the globe. With more than thirty years of experience in


operations and an extensive background in gaming, Bishop was previously the COO and then EVP of strategic project development for Namco USA, a member company of the Bandai Namco Group, the world’s number one game company and a global leader in games and amusements.
