On the surface it betrays a penchant for companies with awkward apostrophes in their name, but there’s obviously much more at play here than that. Rapid expansion for one.

Ropes Courses was started by Jim Liggett in 1989 after he enjoyed success with a zip line course business he began seven years earlier. The company, based in Allegan, Michigan, now employs over 70 people in such fi elds as design, engineering, manufacturing, installation and operation of various ropes courses as well as zip line attractions. Existing products include Sky Rail, Sky Trail, Sky Tikes, zip lines.
