Ison Distribution has announced the appointment of Patrick Joscelyne in the new position of marketing manager and brand manager. He returns to Ison after an eight-year
absence and as part of his role, he will take over the brand management of Surly, a brand with which he has a wealth of experience having helped develop it during his previous stint with Ison. Following the announcement, Joscelyne
says: “Although I’m hugely excited to get back into the Surly wheelhouse it is a bittersweet moment after the untimely passing of my friend Duncan. “I am proud to be taking hold of the bars and continuing the Surly mission – a brand I have always admired”. As marketing manager for Ison, he takes
his extensive expertise and insight from 15 years of senior media roles, first Future Publishing and more recently as

Richard Todd Richard Todd, HJC Europe
HJC Europe has confirmed the recent appointment of Richard Todd as the new European brand and sales director for HJC Sports Bicycle Helmets. This is a newly-created position
overseeing all commercial and marketing activities for the brand within Europe, working closely with the Korean HQ. Todd is a veteran of the industry, taking
commercial and marketing experience following previous positions at Play Sports Network (heading the German business), Assos of Switzerland (establishing and setting up its UK business) and at Ergon where he was the international and OEM sales manager. As a fluent German speaker who started
his career in Germany, Todd has one foot firmly in mainland Europe while being close to the industry in the UK. He will oversee the strategic direction of HJC Sports, working with existing and new distributors, agents and key accounts to grow the brand.•
François Joly François Joly, Mavic
Mavic has announced the appointment of François Joly as the new sales director for the iconic yellow and black brand. In his new role, Joly will be responsible for all commercial activities, including both the OEM and the sales teams dedicated to aftermarket and distributors. . Joly joined Mavic in September of 2023, having previously worked for eight years as sales and marketing manager, and member of the board of directors, for fellow French wheel manufacturing business, Mach 1 Wheel Components. He joined Mavic following a year with the French e-bike business Neomouv. Alberto Morgando, CEO of Mavic said:
“We are delighted to entrust this key position to François Joly. His experience and in-depth knowledge of our industry make him an invaluable asset in driving our business strategy.
