Canyon has announced the appointment of Kristen Laina White, who will be taking on the role of chief digital officer. In sharing the news, the business points out that Laina White has more than 25 years of experience in digital technologies and sports industries, most recently at Nike and Estee Lauder companies. Seen as a natural fit at Canyon, the appointment of Laina White will enable the direct-to-consumer brand to continue developing more relevant and personalised experiences for consumers, via the Canyon app, while also making it easier to find, compare and buy products across its digital platforms. Andrew McIntosh has joined Adaptive DCS as country manager for NS Bikes and Rondo. McIntosh brings a wealth of brand


management experience and is well- regarded as an enthusiastic rider and long standing industry professional. The appointment marks a significant


step in Adaptive DCS’s efforts to expand its international cycling brands in the UK market, with a strong focus on sales and brand exposure. McIntosh will focus on the recently welcomed NS Bikes and Rondo, as well as channelling interests in 3T bikes, UDOG cycling shoes, and Limar helmets, that make up the Adaptive portfolio. He will work closely with dealers


to support their efforts through demo events, and product training and leverage his industry connections and keen understanding of the market to drive growth and brand visibility.•

Ride Concepts has unveiled two new additions to its team based out of the Fox Factory UK head office, with committed mountain bikers and long standing industry professionals, Nathaniel Hall and Jonny Howe coming onboard. Hall takes more than a decade of


experience in the bike industry, having worked with brands such as Specialized, YT Industries, and Sigma Sports. He’s a specialist in B2B and B2C


relationship management, with a deep understanding of the industry. At Ride Concepts, Hall will oversee B2B sales, manage B2C customer service and lead the grassroots UK ambassador programme. Howe has spent time at Saddleback


where he specialised in relationship management with IBDs across the UK and with Intense Cycles as the UK market manager sitting across sales and marketing departments. His role at Ride Concepts will see him manage the B2B accounts across the UK and focus on re-establishing the brand’s presence in the market. •
