WDS showcases cutting-edge confectionery technologies and SweetConnect innovations

Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH returns to ProSweets 2024 in

Cologne, highlighting classic WDS depositing technologies, hygiene advancements, and SweetConnect’s role in shaping the digital future of the confectionery industry.

W

inkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH (WDS) is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of confectionery

machines and covers the entire spectrum of moulded confectionery products with a wide variety of applications and capabilities. The WDS division sweetOTC has also established itself as a specialist in technologies for the production of active OTC confectionery, supplements and nutraceuticals. The main topics in hall 10.1, stand 050 will be classic WDS depositing technologies as well as further developments in hygiene for sensitive application areas. As part of the SweetConnect partner network, WDS will also be demonstrating how the confectionery industry is being networked and digitalised across manufacturers.

Thanks to the EasyClean design of WDS plants and the use of adapted service trolleys, it is easy to change parts that come into contact with the mass as well as to completely replace a depositor system, e.g. for external cleaning or for a large variety of products using exchange systems.

The product- and system-specific program parts demonstrate the extraordinary quality standards of Winkler and Dünnebier confectionery machines. High vertical integration and top-quality material processing are reflected in the dosing and process precision of WDS plants. Last but not least, extensive know-how and many years of experience with various masses and technologies
