crowned Manufacturer of the Year - pictured left. “It is hugely gratifying to have been recognised in

this way, in the face of competition from so many well- known custom installation and consumer brands,” said Dean Carroll, International Sales Director – Consumer. “It is testament to the dedication and innovation of our R&D team, the customer service ethos of our sales and marketing departments and employee focus of HR and the senior management. All these elements come together to make Sanus into the company it is, which has been endorsed by the award judges – our peers in the industry.”

Sanus is a company that is wholly focused on the needs of installers and consumers. It does this by remaining on top of developments within consumer electronics, designing solutions to support products from other brands, such as its close relationship with Sonos which has seen the creation of specialist mounts for Sonos soundbars, speakers and now the Ace headphones.

The history of Sanus can be traced back to the 1980s, when it began operations serving the audiophile sector with loudspeaker stands. Today, as part of the Legrand family, it designs products to enhance experiences with today’s technology and improve product performance, while making installation easy for installers and consumers alike. This year’s Smart Building Awards were held at the same venue as the EI Live! exhibition, which showcased a huge range of products and solutions dedicated to the UK’s custom installation market. The new location for the 2024 awards added an extra level of prestige to the event, which began with networking drinks and light entertainment, followed by the much-anticipated award announcements and a three-course dinner.
