partners and retailers. Electrolux is no different. The company continues to develop technologically innovative appliances in all three of its product categories – Taste, Care and Wellbeing – to ensure there is a genuine offer across all three for its retail partners to benefit. “Within Electrolux and AEG we have remained optimistic while the industry has faced such rapid developments, and we have a positive outlook for the rest of the year and as we head into 2025,” explains Michael White – Channels Manager at Electrolux Group. “Recent easing in interest rates, competitive promotions, and new product innovations

have helped us deliver positive results in recent months,” he tells ERT. “We have seen an increase in AEG’s market share and we have exciting plans ahead for the peak trading season, then we’ve got new products – like our new Built In Platform – coming in 2025.” Recently launched at IFA, AEG’s highly anticipated SaphirMatt Induction Hob is designed with ground-breaking technologies and features that mean consumers no longer have to compromise on style to achieve functionality within the kitchen. The hob has an elegant and sleek matte black finish and has been made with glass that provides superior protection from regular everyday use and abrasions. And earlier this year we saw the introduction of the AEG EcoLine range of appliances that offer some of the highest UK energy efficiency ratings. According to the brand’s research- based approach and Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), approximately 85 per cent of the global climate impact of an appliance, during its lifespan, is generated when it is being used in the home by consumers. Therefore, to assist with this and aid performance, all AEG EcoLine products were designed to help the consumer to see quickly and easily which appliances are the most eco- friendly, with the most energy-efficient uses and features. Included in this EcoLine range are washing machines, hobs, dishwashers and built-in ovens, like the AEG 9000 SteamPro

“Looking ahead, we will continue to supply them with our newest appliances, and we look forward to launching our biggest kitchen range to date in early 2025!”
