JOHN A STEPHENS was formed in 1967, operating from a seven acre site in central Nottingham plus a second outlet located in West Bridgford not far from the city’s test cricket ground. The company is pledged to “Continue to expand the choice of lines and the range of services available to meet the needs of customers large and small” across the Midlands region and further afield. JOHN NICHOLLS (TRADING) Ltd was founded by the late chairman John Nicholls in 1965.
In 2014, the company acquired the J&B’s Plumbing & Heating business in Bournemouth , which brought it three Plumbing & Heating branches and two Bathroom showrooms - since expanded to six branches and four showrooms.
