Warrens Bakery opens fi rst store in Wiltshire
u Warrens Bakery has opened a new store in Melksham, making it the brand’s fi rst location in Wiltshire. The new bakery, which offi cially opened on 14 November, is located on the town’s high street and has created fi ve jobs for local residents. It is being opened in partnership with North Devon couple Julie and Trevor Kerby. Julie and Trevor, who trade under
Acorn Holdings, used a six-fi gure fi nance package from HSBC UK to help them to set up their fi rst Warrens Bakery franchise. The funding has been used to refurbish the premises. The couple will also draw on support from HSBC as they look to expand with the franchise in the coming months; another two sites are planned to open in Trowbridge and Devizes. says: “We are delighted to open a Warrens Bakery in the beautiful town of Melksham. We look forward to meeting new customers as we continue to grow the Warrens Bakery family across the UK.” The Melksham opening is part of
Warrens Bakery’s wider plans to open more stores nationally, Since opening its fi rst franchised store in 2017, the brand has experienced rapid growth and plans to open hundreds of new stores in the next fi ve years.
