u Tan Likiliki is the ChipsAway franchise for Andover and Salisbury and joined in January 2017. “Before joining ChipsAway, I worked night shifts as an engineer whilst my wife worked day shifts, but when we had our fi rst child it changed my priorities. I needed something that would allow me to spend time with my family. I tried a number of different jobs but it wasn’t working out – that’s when I started to look into franchising. “If you want to work for yourself,
it’s paramount to have a strong supporting network that has loads of experience and expertise in that area. have the opportunity to meet the dedicated support team as well as existing franchisees. You will also get a taster of what you would be doing
on a day-to-day basis by meeting the technical team, who provide an initial four weeks of training when you fi rst join the network, and then an additional advanced course three months later. “I am truly grateful that I have work
every day – I never have a shortage; I do either one big job, two medium or sometimes three small jobs.” In September 2018, Tan was thrilled to win ChipsAway’s Customer Service of the Year Award. “I would advise new franchisees to take the utmost care over every job, because recommendations and referrals will always be your best advertisement. “I’m now able to spend quality time with my wife and kids, and I am also much healthier now than before – I’ve lost a lot of weight that I previously struggled with. I love getting to meet new people every day, from all walks of life, and their different attitudes and perspectives. Overall, I’m much happier. My two boys are so proud of me and my eldest son is promoting ChipsAway to his friends and teachers!”
