Hello and welcome! If you’re reading this show guide at the NEC, we're delighted to welcome you to the National Franchise Exhibition.
Who are the BFA? With a tagline of ‘Discover your Tomorrow’, we were founded in 1977 and are the self- regulatory body for franchising in the UK. We have over 300 franchisor members listed on our website, many of whom you can meet at the exhibition.
The BFA – setting the standards in British franchising For your safety, each BFA member’s franchise has been through a rigorous inspection process, to ensure they are ethical, professional and sustainable, which means they have been built correctly, with the all legal paperwork, policies and procedures in place, that the management is professional and that ultimately, you should be able to make money with it if you follow the franchise model.
Here to answer your questions If you have any questions at all about franchising, from how to buy a franchise safely, to how to franchise your existing business, please do come along and talk to experienced staff at our stand over the weekend. Some senior members of our team,
including CEO Pip Wilkins, will be delivering educational lectures during the exhibition, which we hope you will find useful; you’ll find the times and locations in this magazine; we hope you’ll come and join us.
New! 2024 Survey results revealed In exciting news, the long-awaited results of our national franchise survey, published in the British Franchise Journal 2024
which is brought to you by the BFA and NIC Services Group, will be revealed on Friday 4th October 2024. The entire franchise community is
excited to find out some new industry data, including how franchising has fared through a global pandemic and cost-of-living crisis, how much the sector contributes to the GDP, which sectors are growing the fastest and the growth of women within the sector. We hope the results will give you

New! Lifestyle Pavilion New to the exhibition this year will be our brand-new Lifestyle Pavilion.
