Taking the step into a new life “I launched my ActionCOACH business in February 2009, looking to coach business owners around Surrey and Berkshire. I spent a lot of time getting to know my local business community through networking clubs and, over a decade later, I’m still heavily involved. I absolutely love the work I do with my clients. We have great conversations, build strong relationships and get fantastic results.” For Nell, the greatest interruption to
modern life in the best part of a century was the genesis for an immense level of commitment to her client’s survival and success. For three months during the pandemic’s first lockdown, Nell worked regular 14-hour days, gifting coaching sessions to businesses in her community, starting an online BookCLUB and creating daily Facebook Lives. The generosity and dedication Nell has
shown to her business community is now paying dividends. By the end of this year, her number of clients will have nearly tripled from pre-pandemic levels – a testament to the fantastic reputation she’s attained through a period which has caused heartache and financial pain for so many business owners.
The preciousness of time Being an ActionCOACH franchise partner, Nell has been able to control and manage her
work-life balance to benefit her partner as well as her family back in Belgium, who she normally visits at least three times a year. She also values this for her clients above all else, helping them to put aside their anxiety about taking time away from their businesses. So, when time is spent with their families, it can be enjoyed without distractions. “I always have in the back of my mind how
many hours my parents worked each day.
