What is VMG’s role in the


franchise industry? VMG has played a proactive and central role in the franchise industry for many years. We have been providing effective franchisee recruitment solutions across all media platforms for over 26 years. As such, VMG closely aligns its business

strategy with the ever-changing needs of franchisors. Our role is much bigger than the typical role of an exhibition organiser or media organisation. Our clients and the franchise industry rightly expect us to proactively champion the promotion of franchising, offer opportunities for franchisors and franchisees to network, promote ethical franchising and play an active role in the development of the sector. We see our role in the industry continuing to grow in line with how the sector evolves. We continue in our partnership with the British Franchise Association and are working closely to deliver high- quality exhibitions. In addition, we


are looking beyond the borders of the industry to promote franchising and seek inspiration. We are committed to: • Ensuring that franchisors have a cost-effective route to promoting their commitment to ethical business format franchising


• Ensuring that the franchising concept is effectively promoted at grassroots level in schools and universities


• Helping franchisees to grow and be successful. We will offer low- cost networking opportunities and support growth through initiatives that deliver effective staffi ng solutions (one of the biggest challenges for franchisees)
