Caremark expands head offi ce

u With a network of more than 100 offi ces delivering care to hundreds of vulnerable individuals, maintaining Caremark’s high standard of service, as well as compliance with both the Caremark model and CQC legislation, is paramount. To enable franchisees to continue

achieving this, David Glover, Caremark’s managing director, has appointed two new compliance managers. Alan Frew and Sharon Kemp will

relieve the compliance function from the regional development managers (RDMs) for the northern and southern regions respectively. David says: “We wanted to enable our

RDMs to concentrate on supporting our franchisees with growing their businesses. Separating out the critical assessment of care compliance from creating a positive environment for business development is an ideal solution.” Caremark’s franchisees have welcomed this initiative and are pleased to have further skilled support available to them, enabling them to achieve even more with their businesses. l

u Chris Cox lives in Dudley. Prior to him becoming a Zero Dry Time franchisee, he was a car repair manager for 10 years. He says: “Tired of doing the same

job for basic wages and long hours, I wanted something that could allow me a better lifestyle for me and my family. “In 2016 I visited The National

Franchise Exhibition in Birmingham with an open mind. I talked to lots of different franchises in different sectors. When I spoke to David at Zero Dry Time, my fi rst thoughts were: wow, this is totally different and something I could see myself doing.

“Being in the cleaning industry was

not in my thoughts, but I realised Zero Dry Time offered a good opportunity

journey. From the outset, I loved the Zero Dry Time philosophy, the great family atmosphere from head offi ce and my other colleagues. “The initial training got me up

to speed quickly and the ongoing support helped in my initial months. I never felt alone – it was great to be part of a large team but still in charge of my own destiny. “I immersed myself in Zero Dry

Time, and in my fi rst 12 months I had turned over £58,567, with a gross profi t of £46,327. Now, after my second year, I have a second area and increased my gross profi t to £54,645. Zero Dry Time has changed my life.”
