What does being an easyGym franchisee entail? An easyGym franchisee is the true defi nition of an entrepreneur. easyGym unveiled a new, lean and

tech-driven franchise model, a ready and road-tested business for ambitious entrepreneurs, keen to be part of a major global force in the fi tness arena. They do not need to be from the industry. Our franchisees all have a desire to own multiple gyms and understand, that on joining easyGym, they are becoming part of an internationally recognised family, the easy family of brands. They are buying into a turnkey solution, and while the model is robust, innovation is very important.

What makes easyGym different? Imagine the opportunity to ‘work out’ with the easy brand – a name that offers around 98 per cent consumer recognition in the UK and over 90 per cent across Europe. And picture getting an inside track on how to run a successful fi tness business from one of the most recognisable and fast-growing consumer brands in the world. The easyGym model ripped up the rulebook. And with our in-house PACK45 programme, the gym fl oor comes alive.

Do you need previous industry experience? No!

What support do franchisees receive? easyGym is a full turnkey solution – a business in a box. Franchisees are fully supported throughout their journey across all areas, from bank funding to property search and selection.

Is there room for more franchisees? Yes, absolutely. We are recruiting franchisees across the UK, France and other areas across Europe.

What sort of person do you think would suit an easyGym franchise? An easyGym franchisee is a professional, someone willing to become part of the family and work with easyGym to deliver exceptional service where we exceed the members’ expectations. The ability to motivate people and follow the model is key.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of investing in their fi rst franchise? Search for industries that get you excited and will make you want to get up every morning to exceed your own expectations for the day ahead. Research the franchise companies, learn about the opportunities and what support is offered.

One of the most important things for the

franchisee to remember is that there will be a lot of work to do to get their franchise up and running. The franchisee’s focus and dedication will be the biggest differentiator in how their business performs.

What are your plans for the future? With the fi rst 10 franchisee-owned gyms moving forward in the UK and a further 15 franchisee gyms open in France, plus two in Kenya, easyGym’s future plans are global. easyGym’s fi ve-year aim is to have franchisee locations across at least fi ve countries in Europe, with a continuous growth plan for the UK market as well. l
