Fantastic Services brings solutions and convenience to households fa r and wide - maybe yours too!

F

antastic Services operates in the UK, US and Australia, boasting more than 400 franchise units that cater

to 40,000-plus customers every month. The brand was able to grow internationally through its online business model and by expanding its portfolio of services to meet untapped local demand. The company has designed and developed a range of over 25 high-end services (such as professional cleaning, gardening and landscaping, handyman and builders, and pest control) to offer reliable solutions to customers in need of professional property maintenance and improvement. Although not exactly defi ned as a

tech company, Fantastic Services has been quietly working to develop a few technological solutions in order to solve some of the key issues that its niche has been facing over the last decade. Co- founder and CEO Rune Sovndahl says: "Fantastic Services took a traditionally offl ine industry and made it modern and online, giving users real-time access to prices and service availability."

Real-time service availability When the customers of Fantastic Services

book online (or by using the GoFantastic mobile app), they are able to see the availability of the particular service they need and make a booking for a time that is most convenient for them. As soon as a certain time slot for a given service is reserved, the information is processed by a custom-built CRM system, which fi ts the job into the work schedule of a technician.

Pro auto-assign The technicians who operate under the Fantastic Services brand use the Bfantastic mobile app in their day-to-day work. It's their primary tool for receiving job assignments and work-related communication. This is where the so-called 'pro auto-assign' functionality comes in. Whenever there is a certain job that needs to be done, the CRM system is able to automatically assign it to an available specialist who is most suitable for the particular job, based on factors such as the unique requirements of the client, proximity to the address, skillset of the technician and equipment necessary for

the completion of the service. These interconnected functionalities

perfectly refl ect the company's inventive focus. “We're all about technology where it counts, and people where it matters,” says Rune. He has a passion for solving the mundane and daunting aspects of life through innovation and technology. “We have made our services as

accessible as possible for our customers. But we pay equal attention to the service provision process, making sure that the technicians have everything they need to operate effi ciently.”

Franchise opportunities Fantastic Services offers franchise and master franchise opportunities across the UK and abroad. There are various packages available, ranging from single units to master franchisee operating with multiple services and units. l
