Apart from the certified documents there is also a number of other documents that need to be brought to Switzerland although these need not be certified and they do not need to be less than 6 months old. They can be from any year.

• Proof of residence (rates notice, utilities bill, etc) • Divorce certificate (if divorced) • Death certificate of your spouse (if widowed)
