30 Years of Homecoming at Queens

Since 1993, crowds of alumni, students, parents and friends have gathered for Homecoming at Queens. This year, Royals fans, including Homecoming court members from years past, returned to campus on Feb. 2–3, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this festive and memorable occasion.

The weekend kicked off with a Black Alumni Gathering in the McInnes Rotunda of Belk Chapel on Friday evening followed by the Athletics Hall of Fame held in the Sandra Levine Theatre.

Saturday began with a Royal Society Brunch, recognizing and celebrating those who give $1,500+ annually, followed by a campus tour and the Queens vs. Austin Peay State University women’s basketball game.

Later in the day, there was a Fan Fest that included a kid’s zone, music by DJ Swale (Chris Tolbert ’16), tables representing student clubs and organizations, and fire pits with s’mores. The evening concluded with the Queens vs. Bellarmine men’s basketball game with a halſtime special that included the announcement of this year’s Homecoming king and queen.

As Homecoming came to a close, everyone was leſt with heartwarming memories, laughter and deep sense of pride in what it means to be a Royal. The weekend was full of remembering the past and building excitement for the future. Thank you for making Homecoming 2024 a success!
