Greg Case MA ’17 recently published two books. “Over the Hill and Back to the 80s,” a collection of editorial cartoons published while an undergraduate at the University of Tennessee on the staff of the UT Daily Beacon newspaper. And “Smoky Mountain Modern: The Architecture of Hubert Bebb in Postcards,” a visual tribute to an influential modernist architect who practiced in east Tennessee in the mid-20th century (Warren Publishing).
Jenna Christine Wise ’08, MA ’15 got married on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Aſter spending a year in Arizona, Jenna, her artist husband, Adam, and her teenage stepson, relocated to Charlote during spring 2023 and have setled in Pineville, North Carolina. Jenna is an associate creative director at a brand design agency, performs burlesque, and continues to support Charlote’s creative community. Adam is a
visual artist and musician. Their son will be heading into high school this fall.

During the Iowa Summer Writing Festival, hosted by the University of Iowa, Robin Fetherston MFA ’19, gave a public reading of her flash fiction piece “Five for Dinner” at the Graduate Hotel. In November, she presented a video slideshow and reading from her short fiction work “Puccini in March” for Literature Studies ’23, coordinated by DAKAM, which was later published in the conference proceedings. The original version of “Puccini in March” formed part of her MFA thesis at Queens.
Travis Barnes- Roberson MBA ’20 is a highly accomplished communications professional with a background in digital strategy and a passion for curating and directing creative content. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in communications, combining academic expertise with practical experience to excel in the field. He is skilled in military learning development and an adept leader of communications teams, consistently delivering impactful results. Travis is known for strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and a strong ability to develop and execute effective communication plans.

Odom MSOD ’20 was promoted to senior director of field
operations at Burn Boot Camp on January 2, 2024. As such, she leads Burn Boot Camp’s Field Support Team, who provide franchise business coaching, system education, and sales and retention management.
Aſter graduating from Queens, Ahaviyah Levi- Clemons MBA ’22 embarked on a new professional journey. She received a leadership role at her then employer, Tricon American Homes, and opened up her business, Resolute Project Administrative Services, LLC. Her company has a unique business strategy that offers professional services to mid-large companies. She is certain that her studies and work at Queens equipped her with the tools and knowledge to successfully operate in the competitive business environment and career. She is extremely grateful for the relationships through Queens' mentorship program that helped her along the way.
Queens Fondly Remembers Students
Jayvon Dupri Pryor, a first- year student at Queens, was born on Aug. 24, 2005, and passed away on Dec. 7, 2023. Jayvon was a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School in Ohio. He was a
member of the Queens Track team.
Students, faculty, and staff honored the memory of Jayvon Pryor during a memorial event on Saturday, December 16, at Skyline Terrace in Charlote.

Rebecca Elizabeth Davis- Brown MFA ’24 was born on May 7, 1998, and passed away on Oct. 19, 2023. Rebecca, a remote graduate student living in Alabama, was an award-winning published writer. She was a graceful dancer, director, and respected choreographer.
She served as a board member for the Alabama Writers’ Cooperative and taught creative writing classes to children enrolled in Orange Beach’s Expect Excellence Program.
Her thesis advisor, Rebecca Lindenberg, shared that Rebecca was a remarkably talented young poet of great imagination.
